Convention
Taking place biennially during odd-numbered years, Convention is a weekend-long statewide conference for all Florida League members during which important organizational decisions are discussed. Delegates representing their local Leagues vote on important League business, including budgets, by-laws, state Board elections, and policy priorities.

Council of Leaders
Held biennially during even-numbered years, Council of Leaders is a weekend-long League conference for Local Leaders from local Leagues all around Florida. Participants have the opportunity to receive leadership training from state Board members and local elected officials and leadership experts, as well as approve the budget for the coming fiscal year. Local League Board members are encouraged to attend Council in order to keep current with organizational changes in the state League, participate in key decision-making for the coming year, hone their leadership skills in workshops, and stay in touch with other Local Leaders.
Look out for more information on the next Council of Leaders coming in 2014! All Florida League members are invited to attend.
