The Capitol Report
Legislative Session 2016
Capitol Report is published during legislative session to provide League members and concerned citizens with in depth information into the committee rooms, chambers, and hallways of the Florida Capitol. Filed by LWVF Governmental Consultant Debbie Harrison Rumberger every Friday of legislative session, Capitol Report is shared with members to help update them on the League’s priority issues and promote ways to become involved in advocacy efforts.
Want to get involved in the political process, but don’t know how? Common Cause of Florida has produced this handy PowerPoint to help teach the basics of finding and tracking legislation online.
If you are interested in participating in the Lobbying Corps, please email our LWVF Legislative Intern.
