Click Here to download the report released on Monday, July 25, by Florida Legal Services. The report analyzes and explains the way counties in Florida are being affected by the state government’s refusal to accept federal funding for coverage of low income adults.

The League of Women Voters of Florida hosted a teleconference with Florida Legal Services and Joan Alker, Executive Director of the Georgetown University Center for Children and Families on July 25 to discuss the report and the impact of its findings.

This report also addresses the background and status of the Low Income Pool (LIP) and other funding streams for local safety net providers before looking specifically at how the funding changes have impacted individual Hillsborough County health care providers. The report is also embedded below.
